The foundation is led by experienced curators, facilitators, and producers, Kasia Świętochowska and Michał Mendyk. Our work is dedicated to reimagining music and listening practices within today’s socio-technological landscape. We pursue projects in the field of new media and develop initiatives in close collaboration with minority communities -- most notably Opera for the Deaf, a program we have been running for nearly seven years. Our interests also extend to the history of sound art, experimental music, and sonic media. We have published three books on the Polish Radio Experimental Studio -- “Czarny pokój i inne pokoje,” “Patkowski: Ambassador of Music from Mars,” and “Ptacy i ludzie: A Documentary Ballad on Eugeniusz Rudnik.” In addition, under the Bôłt Records label, we have released over one hundred recordings of contemporary music.
